THE ORGANIZATION
The Saskatchewan Health Authority is the largest organization in Saskatchewan, employing over 43,000 employees and physicians responsible for the delivery of high quality and timely health care for the entire province.
We are driven by the commitment to improve frontline patient care for Saskatchewan people and we are working together to better coordinate health services across the province to ensure patients receive high quality, timely health care, wherever they live in Saskatchewan. Establishing one provincial approach to plan and deliver health care services will break down geographic boundaries and service silos to provide more consistent and coordinated health care services across the province.

COMMUNITY ATTRACTIONS
The City of Meadow Lake is situated in the Northwest region of Saskatchewan and is a growing community offering a spectacular variety of recreational attractions. The local parkland, with its many small lakes, is ideal for cottage vacations and camping, while the northern forest areas feature great fishing and hunting, and some of the most beautiful scenery in Canada. Year round, there is always somewhere to explore. For more information about Meadow Lake, please visit https://www.meadowlake.ca/.

The Battlefords consist of the City of North Battleford and the town of Battleford connected by the beautiful North Saskatchewan River valley. Approximately 15,000 people call North Battleford home, making it the 7th largest city in Saskatchewan. The town of Battleford is located 8 kms south from the City of North Battleford, which offers the best of both worlds - “small town” atmosphere with “big city” amenities. Residents frequently refer to the advantage of living within 20 minutes to recreational areas, including the numerous lakes and parks, such as the nearby Battlefords Provincial Park and Table Mountain Regional Park; two of the most popular outdoor destinations in all of Saskatchewan. For more information about the City of North Battleford, please visit https://www.cityofnb.ca/.

A vibrant and growing community, Lloydminster offers the comfort of the rural lifestyle with the convenience of urban amenities. Approximately 32,000 people call Lloydminster home and the city was recently ranked among one of the fastest-growing communities in Canada. Truly unique, it is the only city located in two provinces – Alberta and Saskatchewan. An ever-growing inventory of national retailers, local boutiques, and dining options has helped create a vast retail network in Lloydminster and cemented our community as the Midwest service centre.
